Job Summary

This position acts as the go-to person for accounts as a liaison between the customer and company, assists in vendor days and vendor education, identifies key voids and other selling opportunities and acts on and closes those opportunities. This role expands to the edibles distribution by setting appointments, coordinating samples drops and following up with potential clients post-delivery.  This position trains and helps manage vendor managed inventory for select accounts and effort to grow our business through collaboration and business insights. Supports and adheres to company’s Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

The salary for this role is $60k to 70k base annually with performance based incentives. This is a full time, on-site position that requires open availability but will primarily be working Monday-Friday.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Acts as a Go-To for account as liaison between customer and company on any questions or issues that may arise.
  2. Performs weekly check-in call.
  3. Calculates discounts for special buys or outdated product and notifies Sales Support Representative Team.
  4. Notifies upper management of any product or paperwork issues.
  5. Alerts clients of new products, promotions, etc. 
  6. Provides product /specials recommendations for account building.
  7. Uses data tools and account history to analyze accounts and make suggestions of items to be placed on the shelf to maximize the account and Brand presence. 
  8. Coordinates Vendor Day events with scheduling personnel. 
  9. Works closely with VMI Order Representatives on all accounts they share to ensure customer satisfaction, accuracy and growing the business.
  10. Tracks and reviews real-time client inventory using Headset, Greenbits, and other inventory and data programs
  11. Places weekly proposal orders in the Panda Portal for approval by vendor considering inventory trends, flow rates, and distribution voids as well as par levels set by vendor if applicable.
  12. Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned. 
  13. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Job Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.  These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.  

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to travel (state-wide) for Vendor Shows and as needed.

Education/Experience:  to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: 

  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
  • Computer Experience preferred.

Physical Abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • Frequently sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 25 pounds, and grasp.
  • Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell.  
  • Occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 50 pounds, talk, or hear.
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)

Workplace Environmental Conditions

While performing the essential duties/responsibilities of this job, the employee is exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels, fast-paced sales environment is an integral part of this position, as is the ability to work with high-stress situations. Travel to local events, meetings or training by car 10-20% of the time,; may also occasionally travel out of the and area for meetings or training opportunities by car or air. Regularly scheduled to work 40 hours per week. Work hours may fluctuate to facilitate early morning or late evening meetings and events.
