Location: Springfield, MA
Schedule: Full-time (5× 8-hour shifts/week)
Availability Required: Weekends, mornings, evenings, holidays
Pay: $19/hour + tips

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead budtending team on the sales floor
Open and close storefront; manage budtender drawers
Maintain compliance with state cannabis regulations and internal SOPs
Manage customer service, floor inventory, and daily cash handling
Train staff, coordinate breaks and shift transitions
Enforce cleanliness and operational standards
Handle customer disputes, pricing issues, and inventory restocking
Collaborate with inventory and management teams
Maintain clean, organized POS counters and stations
Stay current on cannabis products, industry trends, and in-store promotions
Represent the brand with professionalism in both appearance and product knowledge

Qualifications

Age:

Must be 21 or older

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of lead/supervisor experience (required)
Budtending and retail sales experience (preferred)
2 years of customer service experience
Experience with METRC and Dutchie systems highly preferred

Skills:

Strong leadership and team communication
In-depth cannabis product knowledge
Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking
Fluent in English (Spanish preferred)

Legal Requirements:

Must pass a Department of Criminal Justice background check (LiveScan)
Must have valid U.S. work authorization

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per shift
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely
Capable of bending, squatting, kneeling, and performing restocking tasks
Able to perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the retail space

Warmly greet each guest and assist with personalized cannabis recommendations
Maintain professionalism in communication, demeanor, and product knowledge
